Mahomes continues to operate without on-field restrictions since suffering a high right-ankle sprain during the Chiefs' divisional-round win against the Jaguars. Playing through it during this past Sunday's AFC Championship Game versus the Bengals, he completed 29 of 43 passes for 326 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, despite wide receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), Kadarius Toney (ankle/hamstring) and Mecole Hardman (pelvis) all exiting with injuries of their own. Mahomes discussed his health Thursday, telling Pete Sweeney of ArrowheadPride.com that he dealt with some discomfort following the contest but nothing more. With Mahomes' availability not up in the air for Super Bowl LVII against the Eagles, the only question that remains is who among the aforementioned WR trio will be able to suit up Sunday, Feb. 12.

Allen completed all three of his pass attempts for 22 yards in his lone appearance of the 2022 season, which came Week 9 in a 42-21 win over the Panthers.

Allen's limited action reflected both Joe Burrow's relative health as well as the fact that the Bengals weren't often on the good or bad end of a blowout during the season. The 30-year-old is set to become an unrestricted free agent this spring, but Burrow has expressed hope that the Bengals will bring back Allen as his backup in 2023.

Mahomes (ankle) was listed as a full participant on Wednesday's estimated practice report.

Like he was last week in advance of this past Sunday's AFC Championship Game, Mahomes would have logged all on-field work if the Chiefs had held a session Wednesday to kick off prep for Super Bowl LVII. He played through what was termed a right high-ankle sprain in the 23-20 win over the Bengals, looking visibly hobbled at times but still gutting it out while Kansas City wide receivers departed with a variety of injuries. Overall, Mahomes completed 29 of 43 passes for 326 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions, despite all of JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), Kadarius Toney (ankle/hamstring) and Mecole Hardman (pelvis) dealing with health concerns that resulted in their early exits. All three players were listed as non-participants Wednesday, so the team's skill-position talent will be monitored to see who may be at Mahomes' disposal Feb. 12 against the Eagles.

Head coach Kyle Shanahan said Wednesday that he doesn't expect Garoppolo (foot) to be a member of the 49ers for the 2023 season, Matt Maiocco of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

It's been a whirlwind year for Garoppolo, who was shopped last offseason with the 49ers set to move on to 2021 first-round pick Trey Lance under center. However, Garoppolo's health was in limbo due to his recovery from surgery on his right throwing shoulder, and he eventually remained with the team after interested organizations settled their respective quarterback situations. When Lance suffered a season-ending right ankle injury Week 2, Garoppolo was pressed into action and held on to the starting role until he suffered a broken left foot Week 13, which allowed for the emergence of seventh-round rookie Brock Purdy (elbow). While both Lance and Purdy enter this offseason with health concerns, San Francisco's brass is comfortable with the pair moving forward, meaning Garoppolo will be allowed to test free agency once March arrives.

San Francisco general manager John Lynch said Wednesday that Purdy continues to receive opinions on how to proceed with the complete tear of the UCL that he sustained in his right elbow during Sunday's NFC Championship Game loss in Philadelphia, but the most likely scenario is surgery followed by a six-month recovery, Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com reports.

Lynch specifically mentioned the InternalBrace repair, and head coach Kyle Shanahan added Purdy's right throwing arm should return to full strength in time for training camp, per David Lombardi of The Athletic. Shanahan also told Lombardi that the 49ers are comfortable with Trey Lance and Purdy as the team's top two quarterbacks for 2023. Considering Lance's right ankle and fibula are expected to be healed well in advance of the offseason program, he may be able to stave off Purdy once late July rolls around. Having said that, Purdy made a case to hold on to the starting gig next season after going 7-1 during his eight-game run with the job to wrap up the most recent campaign.

Tagovailoa cleared the NFL's five-step concussion protocol Wednesday, and the Dolphins are confident he'll be 100 percent for their upcoming offseason program and the 2023 season, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.

Tagovailoa was diagnosed with two confirmed concussions during the 2022 regular season, and the second one -- which occurred against Green Bay on Christmas Day -- ultimately sidelined him for the remainder of the campaign. In early January, Dolphins general manager Chris Grier said Miami had been told by doctors that Tagovailoa's recent head injuries won't leave him prone to more concussions in the future, so the team feels confident the Alabama product can still be its franchise quarterback moving forward.

Mixon has been issued an arrest warrant on a count of aggravated menacing, per Hamilton County (Ohio) Court records, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

The Bengals released a statement in the wake of the news: "The club is aware misdemeanor charges have been raised against Joe Mixon. The club is investigating the situation and will not comment further at this time." With the entire offseason ahead of him, the NFL will allow the legal process to play itself out before determining if any sort of punishment will be levied upon Mixon under the personal conduct policy.

Coleman reverted to the 49ers' practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

With Elijah Mitchell (groin) unavailable, Coleman was elevated to the active roster for the AFC Championship Game but played just one offensive snap and didn't record any counting stats. The veteran running back made five regular-season appearances for the 49ers and totaled five touches for 70 yards and two scores.

The Patriots signed Bowden to a reserve/future contract Monday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.

Bowden, a 2020 third-round pick by the Raiders, spent the entire 2022 campaign on the Patriots' practice squad. He saw just one elevation (Week 9) but failed to garner a target across 14 offensive snaps. With his new contract, he'll be able to stick around New England's organization and compete for a roster spot during the offseason.

The Chiefs signed Ealy to their practice squad Monday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.

Ealy, an undrafted rookie out of Mississippi, has bounced on and off the Chiefs' practice squad during the 2022 campaign, but the wideout, who played running back in college, still is looking to make his NFL debut. In a corresponding move, Kansas City cut Matthew Wright from its practice squad.

Perine rushed five times for 22 yards and a touchdown while catching three of four targets for four yards in Sunday's 23-20 AFC Championship Game loss to the Chiefs.

Joe Burrow led the Bengals with 30 rushing yards on four attempts, but Perine was more effective than Joe Mixon, who mustered only 19 yards on eight carries. Perine tied the score at 20-20 with a two-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter. That touchdown could prove to be his last with the Bengals, as Perine will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

McKinnon rushed four times for one yard and brought in two of four targets for 17 yards during the Chiefs' 23-20 win over the Bengals in Sunday's AFC Championship Game. He also recovered a fumble.

The veteran running back didn't see much of an uptick in pass-catching opportunity even as the Chiefs lost receivers JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee), Kadarius Toney (ankle) and Mecole Hardman (pelvis) as the evening unfolded. McKinnon also filled his frequently modest role on the ground, although his recovery of a Travis Kelce fumble at the Bengals' 22-yard line late in the first quarter preserved a drive that subsequently culminated in a 24-yard Harrison Butker field goal. If backfield mate Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle, IR) is activated for the Super Bowl LVII matchup versus the Eagles in two weeks' time, McKinnon could see his touches reduce further in that contest.

Johnson finished the regular season with nine catches on 22 targets for 99 yards and no touchdowns. He caught his only target for 17 yards in two postseason contests.

Johnson began the campaign on New York's practice squad and got a permanent roster spot in mid-October. He ended up being active in a career-high 14 games but spent most of his time on the sidelines, particularly from Weeks 10-17, when he totaled just 46 offensive snaps and didn't record any catches or targets. Johnson heads into the offseason as a free agent, and considering his limited role with the Giants this season, his time in New York may be over after just one campaign.

The Chiefs are gathering opinions to determine if Hardman (pelvis) has a chance to play in Super Bowl LVII against the Bengals, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

What alternatively has been called an abdominal or pelvic issue actually is a core muscle injury, per Garafolo. The health concern contained Hardman to just one appearance since Week 9 in this past Sunday's AFC Championship Game versus the Bengals, a contest in which he aggravated it. On Thursday, coach Andy Reid said "it'll be tough" for Hardman to be active for the Super Bowl, according to Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com. Having said that, the door remains slightly ajar for Hardman to be a part of the Chiefs' offensive game plan Sunday, Feb. 12.

Coach Andy Reid told Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com on Thursday that Hardman (pelvis) is unlikely to be available for Super Bowl LVII versus the Eagles. "I think it'll be tough for him," Reid relayed.

Making his first appearance since Week 9 in this past Sunday's AFC Championship Game against the Bengals, Hardman managed to play 15 of 69 snaps on offense en route to two catches (on three targets) for 10 yards and two carries for seven yards. However, he aggravated his injured pelvis in the second half and was unable to return. Considering Reid's comments Thursday, Hardman seems to be the least likely of the Chiefs' banged-up wide receivers -- also, JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Kadarius Toney (ankle/hamstring) -- to suit up Sunday, Feb. 12.

Coach Andy Reid said Smith-Schuster (knee) won't practice Thursday, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.

Smith-Schuster was knocked out of this past Sunday's AFC Championship Game versus the Bengals with a knee issue, holding him to one seven-yard catch on 31 of 69 offensive snaps. While Smith-Schuster hasn't taken part in drills in the meantime, Reid expressed optimism Thursday regarding the wide receiver being able to practice next week ahead of Super Bowl LVII against the Eagles, according to Nate Taylor of The Athletic. "He's in a good place," Reid added. "The main thing is letting this thing calm down. ... We'll just see where it goes." Position mates Kadarius Toney (ankle/hamstring) and Mecole Hardman (pelvis) also have been held out this week, so the situation will be one to watch to get a sense of who among the trio may be active Sunday, Feb. 12.

Toney has yet to practice since injuring his left ankle during the Chiefs' win against the Bengals in the AFC Championship Game this past Sunday, which contained him to four snaps on offense and one nine-yard catch. He's also listed with a hamstring issue on the team's initial injury report ahead of Super Bowl LVII. Reid told Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star that Toney did participate in Thursday's walkthrough, adding that the wide receiver is "close." Position mates JuJu Smith-Schuster (knee) and Mecole Hardman (pelvis) also haven't mixed into drills this week, so the health of the trio will continue to be monitored to see who among them may be available Sunday, Feb. 12 against the Eagles.

Hilton played in three regular-season and two postseason games for Dallas in 2022, catching 10 of 15 targets for 159 yards.

The long-time Colt wound up being Plan B for the Cowboys after they determined Odell Beckham (knee) wasn't going to be able to help them for the stretch run, and Hilton made an immediate impact in his Week 16 debut when he hauled in a 52-yard catch on his only target from Dak Prescott. Hilton was purely a depth option for the team, though, and the 33-year-old's days of being an elite downfield threat are long behind him. It's not yet clear if Dallas has any interest in bringing him back in 2023, or if he'll try to catch on with another club this offseason.

Vannett played in nine regular-season games between the Saints and the Giants, finishing with four receptions on seven targets for 42 yards and no touchdowns.

Vannett began the campaign with New Orleans before latching on with New York's practice squad in late November. He eventually joined the team's active roster but saw limited action behind rookie starter Daniel Bellinger. Vannett's overall catch and yardage totals during the campaign were his lowest since his rookie season in 2016 with Seattle. Bellinger is the Giants' clear tight end of the future, so the team isn't likely to prioritize bringing back Vannett, who will be an unrestricted free agent.

Bellinger totaled 30 catches on 35 targets for 268 yards and two receiving touchdowns during the regular season in his rookie campaign. He added one rush for a two-yard touchdown.

Bellinger saw his snap count rise steadily from Week 1 to Week 6 before suffering an eye injury against Jacksonville in Week 7. The issue required surgery and cost him four contests, but Bellinger immediately slotted back into a starting role upon his return and received the lion's share of New York's tight end snaps the rest of the way, including in two postseason contests during which he tallied three catches on five targets for 21 yards. While the rookie out of San Diego State didn't record more than five receptions or 42 yards in any game during the campaign, he made at least one catch in every contest after Week 1 and solidified his place as the Giants' tight end of the future. New York has a bevy of pass catchers along with quarterback Daniel Jones slated for free agency this offseason, so Bellinger's outlook for next year could be impacted by who the team adds, retains and parts ways with.

Gesicki is expected to part ways with the Dolphins as a free agent this offseason, Daniel Oyefusi of the Miami Herald reports.

Gesicki secured 32 of 52 targets for 362 yards and five touchdowns across 17 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2022, and general manager Chris Grier said he has "earned the right to be a free agent" after a year playing on the franchise tag. The tight end appeared a questionable fit in coach Mike McDaniel's scheme even ahead of this past campaign, and despite Miami's coaching staff relaying continued optimism that the athletic tight end would keep a key role on offense, he ended up with his lowest receiving marks since his rookie season. Though Gesicki continued to flash occasional playmaking ability when called upon, his underwhelming utilization in McDaniel's scheme makes it seem unlikely he re-signs with the Dolphins. Other franchises in the league may be more willing to feature Gesicki's receiving skill set.

Sample recorded two catches for minus-2 yards over two appearances before missing the rest of the regular season and postseason while recovering from surgery to address MCL and PCL damage to his right knee.

A second-round pick in 2019, Sample never developed into a major receiving option over the four years of his rookie deal. Though Sample could be at or near full health by the spring, the impending free agent isn't a lock to be retained by Cincinnati.

Hurst had four catches on five targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game loss to the Chiefs.

Signed to a one-year, $3.5 million deal this offseason, Hurst enjoyed a nice bounce-back campaign in Cincinnati despite missing three games due to a calf injury. After generating a 52-414-2 receiving line on 68 targets over his 13 appearances during the regular season, Hurst likely won't be keen on settling for a one-year deal as he heads back into free agency this spring. Even if the 29-year-old tight end does end up signing another one-year contract, he should at least be in store for a slight bump in pay whether he returns to Cincinnati or heads elsewhere.

Hendershot (hamstring) caught 11 of 16 targets for 103 yards and two touchdowns over 17 regular-season games in 2022. He also added a two-yard rushing TD on his only carry.

An undrafted rookie out of Indiana, Hendershot impressed in training camp and won the No. 3 spot on the tight end depth chart to begin the season, a role that wound up leading to some fantasy value thanks to his nose for the end zone, even if he didn't see more than one target in any game after the Cowboys' Week 9 bye. Dalton Schultz is a free agent this offseason, and if he heads elsewhere, Hendershot could see a much more significant role in the Dallas offense in 2023, though he'd likely still be behind 2022 fourth-round pick Jake Ferguson.

During the regular season, Gano converted 29 of 32 field-goal attempts and 32 of 34 extra-point tries. He made his lone field-goal try and all five of his extra-point attempts over two postseason games.

Gano was selected as a Pro Bowl alternate on the strength of his accurate kicking during the campaign. Among other things, he went 8-for-9 on field-goal attempts from beyond 50 yards, finishing with his most makes from that distance in his 13 seasons as a pro. Gano struggled at times with his accuracy early in his career, but he's since become one of the league's most reliable kickers, making 132 of 143 (92.3 percent) of his field-goal tries over the past five campaigns. Gano has one year remaining on his current contract and figures to be the Giants' primary placekicker again next season.

Cowboys team owner Jerry Jones said Wednesday that the team will be "starting over" at kicker, implying that Maher is unlikely to be retained heading into the 2023 season, Clarence E. Hill Jr. of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Maher is already headed for free agency with his contract set to expire at the start of the new league year, and Dallas apparently won't be looking to re-sign the 33-year-old. After bouncing around several organizations for much of his career, Maher appeared to find a home in Dallas in 2022. He was one of the NFL's top kickers during the regular season, converting 29 of his 32 field-goal attempts and totaling 137 points, tied for third in the NFL. However, his regular season performance was overshadowed by missing six of his final seven extra-point attempts over a three-game stretch between Week 18 against Washington and the Cowboys' two playoff games. Maher likely won't struggle to get an opportunity to compete for a kicking job during training camp and the preseason, but a team may be reluctant to hand him the gig outright heading into 2023.

Maher connected on 29 of 32 field-goal attempts, including nine of 11 from 50 yards or longer, and 50 of 53 extra-point attempts across 17 regular-season games in 2022.

His impressive performance during the regular season, which saw Maher finish tied for third in the NFL with 137 points, was the good news. The bad? His dreadful postseason numbers, as he missed five of six PATs in two playoff games. The kicker is an unrestricted free agent this offseason, and the rough ending to his campaign could put his future with the Cowboys in doubt. With special-teams coach John Fassel expected to return to Dallas in 2023, however, Maher likely will get a chance to prove his postseason woes were just an aberration.

Vizcaino's practice squad contract with the Cowboys expired Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.

Vizcaino's short tenure with Dallas will come to an end less than two weeks after signing with the team's practice squad Jan. 18. The 26-year-old was brought in by the Cowboys after the team's starting kicker Brett Maher went 1-for-5 on extra-point attempts in the wild-card win over Tampa Bay. However, Vizcaino was not elevated for the subsequent loss to San Francisco in the divisional round, so he never wound up appearing in a game for Dallas. Vizcaino now will look to land a deal elsewhere heading into the 2023 campaign.

Patterson went 30-for-35 on field-goal attempts and 36-for-37 on PATs during the 2022 regular season.

The 23-year-old was also perfect across the Jaguars' two playoff games, making three field goals and four extra points. Patterson debuted with seven appearances for Detroit in 2021, and he was solid as Jacksonville's kicker this season, going 18-for-19 on kicks inside 40 yards. James McCourt inked a reserve/future contract to provide some competition, but Patterson is an exclusive rights free agent in 2023, and there's a decent chance the team wants him back.

Joseph converted 26 of his 33 field-goal attempts and went 40-for-46 on point-after tries over 17 games in the 2022 regular season.

Joseph got off to a rough start during his second season with Minnesota, going 9-for-14 on field-goal tries over the first seven games. He did finish strong by not missing a single field-goal attempt in all but one of the final 11 games, including the wild-card loss to the Giants. However, Joseph particularly struggled from long range this season, as he knocked through four of his 10 field-goal attempts of 50 yards or more. He thus finished with both the most missed field goals and extra points of his career, so it's unclear if he'll be re-signed before becoming an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Pinnock played in 14 regular-season games in 2022, totaling 41 tackles (34 solo), 1.5 sacks, three defended passes, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery.

Pinnock moved from the Jets to the Giants in late August and began the season playing almost exclusively on special teams. He got an opportunity for an increased role when Xavier McKinney hurt his hand during the team's Week 9 bye, and Pinnock recorded 36 tackles, 1.5 sacks and three pass defenses over New York's subsequent seven games. Pinnock has two years remaining on his rookie contract, and his role next season could be substantially impacted by whether the Giants elect to bring back impending free agent Julian Love.

Ojulari finished the 2022 regular season with 5.5 sacks among his 14 tackles across seven games. He added one defended pass and three forced fumbles.

Ojulari was limited by injuries throughout the campaign, the most serious of which was a calf issue that kept him out of nine of New York's first 11 contests. The second-year pro flashed his explosive skills upon his return, tallying 4.5 sacks in four games between Week 13 and Week 16. Ojulari has two years remaining on his rookie contract and will be a key piece of the Giants' defensive scheme next season. He could be due for a breakout campaign if he's able to stay healthy.

Jackson played in 10 games during the 2022 regular season, tallying 51 tackles (40 solo), seven pass defenses, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries. He added 14 tackles (11 solo) across New York's two playoff contests.

Jackson was a key component of New York's secondary in the games in which he played, taking part in over 90 percent of the team's defensive snaps in nine of his 12 contests between the regular season and playoffs. However, a sprained MCL suffered in Week 11 against Detroit cost him seven games, and he has now missed 29 regular-season contests over the past four campaigns. Jackson is signed through 2024 and should remain a starter in the Giants' secondary next season.

Sneed (concussion) was listed as a non-participant on Thursday's practice estimate.

Sneed has now been listed as a non-participant in back-to-back days due to the concussion he suffered during last Sunday's AFC Championship Game versus the Bengals. However, it's been reported that the third-year cornerback was on the field for stretching and conditioning Thursday, which would ultimately put him in the next stage of the concussion protocol, per Matt Derrick of ChiefsDigest.com. Sneed will have over nine more days to clear the league's five-step concussion protocol before Kansas City squares off against the Eagles in the Super Bowl.

Lloyd had 115 tackles (59 solo), eight passes defensed, three interceptions and two fumble recoveries in 17 games during the 2022 regular season.

The rookie first-round pick played an every-down role at times for Jacksonville this season, and he finished third on the team in tackles. Lloyd should take on a more consistent gig during his sophomore campaign in 2023, though his IPD potential likely will remain more limited while playing alongside Foye Oluokun, who has two straight 180-plus tackle seasons.

Jenkins had 116 tackles (73 solo), one sack, 12 passes defensed, one interception and three forced fumbles in 17 games during the 2022 regular season.

The 29-year-old finished with a career high in tackles and finished second on the team, trailing only league-leader Foye Oluokun. It's the first time Jenkins has eclipsed the 100-tackle mark in his career, and he also had his first forced fumbles. He carries a $10.25 million cap hit for 2023 and would have just a $4 million in dead cap if released, which makes him a prime cut or restructure candidate this offseason.
